The Tayara

The Tayara, known as the plane in English, is a larger room topped with a terrace overlooking the old souks. It is the highest point overhanging the souks and highest part of the palace. It is a palace for relaxation and to contemplate the panoramic view of the town and its surrounding landscape. The room opened on all four sides, allows the Tayara to be the coolest place to spend the hot evenings. And from the roof one can enjoy the splendid view of the sea castle of Saida.
