The Debbané Foundation
The Foundation has been created to safeguard the future of the family home. The Family and original owners, descendants of Raphael Youssef Debbané, and have relinquished their rights to the property in 1999 to establish the Debbané Foundation (WAKF). Its main objective is to restitute the artistic and historic values of the palace.
Our Vision
The Foundation established a museum in view of perpetuating the successful existence of a unique Ottoman palace in Saida.
Foundation Board
The Debbané Foundation is governed by a committee of six Members:
Chairman : Raphaël Georges Debbané
Board Member: Camille Jean Debbané
Board Member: Raymond François Debbané
Board Member: Denise Joseph Naggear
The remaining two Board Members are:
President of the Municipality (the Mayor of Saïda)
Director General of the Department of Antiquities of Lebanon.
